Airplane Model Database and API Database with Specifications & Historic Data
Our Aircraft Model Database is a resource airplane model specifications, encompassing information from over 66 airplane manufacturers. It includes both current models and those no longer in service. Users can access the database in multiple ways: through API requests, by cloning the database, or by downloading it in a JSON, csv, sql or Excel format.
Data in our Aircraft Database includes:
- Seat number and seat maps: the total number of seats and their layout inside the aircraft
- Engine type and count: type of engines used (jet, turboprop, etc.) and the number of engines on the aircraft
- Maximum take-off weight: The maximum weight at which the aircraft is certified to take off
- Wingspan, fuselage width, and height: dimensions of the aircraft
- Airplane weight and height: the weight and height of the aircraft when empty
- Aircraft silhouettes: visual representations or outlines of the aircraft
- Engine thrust rating: the amount of thrust each engine can produce
- Gear type: type and configuration
Our sources
We believe the actuality of our data is the key. We gather our data from official sources such as FAA, public aircraft registries, IATA, ICAO or directly from the airlines and manufacturers, wholesalers and our many trusted partners in aviation industry.
